The benefits of Nat-Lax TNT

Nat-Lax TNT is a fast acting herbal colon cleanse support which combines the beneficial effects of 9 active ingredients including rhubarb, cayenne and glucomannan. The beneficial effects of this supplement are outlined below:

  • Chronic constipation
  • Improving lower bowel function
  • Laxative abuse
  • Supports internal cleansing
  • Improves bowel regularity
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Preferred by colonic hydrotherapists before, during and after treatments

Nat-Lax TNT formula

The combination of herbs and ingredients in Nat-Lax TNT is based on a formula proposed by Mr. John Raymond Christopher1 and is a tried and tested herbal laxative. It is a fast-acting colon cleaner, designed for the chronically constipated in need for strong treatment for blocked bowels. In order to prevent griping (cramps), purgatives have been combined in this formulation as well. It also helps "blast loose" the residual intestinal congestion and get the best results of any bowel cleanse program. Nat-Lax TNT is used extensively by colon hydrotherapists in combination with other hydrotherapy treatments.
Although highly beneficial, Nat-Lax TNT is a blend of strong herbs, that's why it is not recommended following it for more than 2 months continuously. If you still need colon and laxative support after taking Nat-Lax TNT for more than 2 months, we recommend considering other laxatives and colon cleansers such as: Oxy-Klenz, COL-Clear A or COL-Clear B for long-term intestinal toning and constipation support.

Nat-Lax ingredients explained

Rhubarb is effective due to its content of anthaquinones, including rhein and emodin which induce cathartic (purging, cleansing) and laxative properties. It proved to be of good use in constipation and as a natural strong herbal laxative, astringent-bitter, gastric stimulant, anti-inflammatory, stomachic, tonic and anit-septic. It is also used for disorders of the liver, gallbladder and stomach.

Barberry bark

(Berberis vulgaris, lat.), contains an alkaloid known as berberine and supports liver, gallbladder, spleen and pancreas tonic, improving bowel function. Also, it has anti-septic, anti-bacterial effects when taken orally, being useful against dysbiosis, stimulating the bile flow, eases liver congestion and is recommended for gallbladder or intestinal inflammation.

Most herbalists see cayenne as the purest and safest stimulant known, as it creates conditions for more blood flow into all body tissues. It is used to increase gastrointestinal secretions, acts as an anti-spasmodic for cramps relief and has also a carminative (anti-flatulence) effect.

Recognized for its wide range of beneficial properties including anti-bacterial, anti-parasitic and anti-spasmodic, anti-dyspeptic, anti-blood-clotting, cholesterol-lowering, triglyceride-lowering and blood pressure-lowering effect. It has been used for centuries to treat anything from dysentery, typhoid and cholera, to bacterial food poisoning and intestinal worms. Its anti-bacterial action helps the bowel to heal and is used as a bile stimulant.

Derived from the konjac root (Amorphophallus konjac, lat.), glucomannan is a water-soluble dietary fibre which has proved bulk-forming and laxatives properties. It is used to treat constipation, but also for diverticular disease — a clinical trial found that approximately one third of people with the disease had a decrease in their symptoms after taking glucomannan.

Nettle leaf

A herb high in chlorophyll, vitamins (including vitamin C), serotonin, histamine, acetyl-choline, minerals (including iron), calcium, silica and a range of other cleansing and protective nutrients which transform nettle leaf in a great tonic, a solution of tiredness, helping rebuild and cleanse the digestive system and liver. Acts also as a mild bowel stimulant and as a diuretic.

Aloe vera

The chloride contained in the aloe vera leaves is increasing the water concentration into the stool and therefore provides a laxative effect. Also, the inner aloe skin is producing aloin, a bitter yellow liquid, with laxative effects. This secretion can be dried and used as a laxative powder. Also, anthraquinones are another compound found in aloe, along with aloe-emodin, barbaloin and aloectic acid — these compound provide powerful relief for constipation.

Dandelion root

Dandelion root and other parts of dandelion have been used for a long period of time as a gentle laxative, a digestive aid, in treating liver and kidney problems, relieving inflammation, boils, fever, inflammation, and diarrhoea. It stimulates the appetite and promotes a healthy digestion.

Ginger root

Flatulence, bloating and nausea can be alleviated by ginger root as it is recognized as a hot herb which promotes gastric acidity and aids in digestion. It is used for many stomach conditions for its anti-inflammatory, carminative, anti-spasmodic, expectorant, vasodilator and circulatory stimulant properties. In case of absences or reduction of hydrochloric acid in stomach juices (known as achlorhydria), ginger root can be used to promote gastric secretions.
